The text in these guides is TINY. I can understand why they're selling them for such a low price, i knew it would be too good to be true.
There's lots of parts that are very badly formatted, with page borders covering up parts of the text etc.
There was also lines of information duplicated and there's not much point in there being pictures in the book because it's basically newspaper print.
The paper is shoddy quality and you need a microscope to read it. Get full size guides if you really want these!

Read the U.S reviews for The Sims 3 Box Set (games guides) as they seem to be more accurate. Whoever the idiot was who gave this item 5 stars did NOT buy this item. These are NOT the full size colour glossy Prima guides that you may have thumbed through in a shop. They are very much the poor relation to those versions. The box set is pocket sized and so is the print; font size 6 or less. The paper is poor quality and so is the printing, all in grey-scale. A complete disappointment and a waste of money. Just another example of EA ripping off Simmers.

Just as they did with The Sims 2 guides, Prima has shrank the full colour guides down into illegible pocket sized versions. The text and pictures are often so small and blurred (due partly to the horrible cheap paper used) that they are completely unreadable, even with a magnifying glass!
Avoid these like the plague, hopefully if hardly anyone buys these then Prima will go back to the old large format full colour editions.

Exceedingly poor...do not buy!

Not great, but adequate for a cheapskate!
As other reviewers have said, the print is tiny and difficult to read; hardly a relaxing late night treat. The pictures are also too small and b/w. An index would be helpful. Read more

I was very disappointed went i got my box set,
Its is a lot smaller then the picture make's it look.

Small and Photocopied
These are the full versions of the guides, although it looks as though they have been photocopied as most pictures and some of the text is completely illegible. Read more
