Well... I managed it!,

I asked for Sims 3 earlier in the week to entertain me while I'm off sick from work. I've grown up with Sims, from PC, Playstation, DS, and now Wii, I've seen it in it's many guises...
After reading the previous reviews, I was a little concerned my money would be wasted, but thankfully it was not! The Create-A-Sim feature is now as sophisticated as the PC version! Your little friends no longer look all jagged and pixel-ey! Admittedly, we're lacking HD qualitiy, but I hold my hands up, that's not something I really care about! Once you get in there (and sorry to all the previous reviewers!), I didn't find the controls particularly difficult at all! And I've given up on Wii games for this reason in the past (damn you, Tomb Raider Anniversaries!!!!!). The controls actually felt quite intuitive... So, if you've had experience of using the nunchuck and remote together for platform games on the Wii, this game won't cause you too many problems! I also want to point out for all you PC Sim-ers, that - sadly - you can no longer build your house from scratch! You have to earn extensions and upgrades... But don't worry, all that's set about the structure is the external walls... You can do whatever you like building-wise on the inside! EA have said doing this has allowed them to include more elaborate structures, like round roofs, and beams, but I can only quote them on that... Finally, one last big change is the way you can interact with your Sim at work. You can now pick what chores they do in their working day... You can make yourself into the bosses lap-dog or the office clown! This is a definite step up from being forced to watch the fast-forwarding world go by while you wait, as per the previous games! So, in conclusion, I really love this little game... It's great that EA have finally recognised that we don't all have super-computers that can comfortably run Sims 3! I'd recommend it to anyone!

I asked for this game because my PC didn't meet the system requirements. I, myself, didn't have any problems with the graphics or controls (no offence to other gamers), and found the entire game really fun. I found that at one point the game froze but that was only because the disk wasn't clean.
My only complaint is that when your sim gives birth you have to name the baby before you know the sex! I ended up only using "unisex" names like Ashley. Overall this is a great game! I highly reccomend it!

I have always played sims ever since i was little. My favourite has always been the computer games, though.
I got this game for my birthday which i was really excited about. I found the game easy to set up and a lot of fun to play with. The game is very much like the computer game but i would say not quite as good. The controls for the game arn't exactly as easy as i would have hoped. Also, the multiplayer mode was very disappointing. Me and my friend played it and we both found it very boring. Overall, the game is amazing but i would only recommend it if you will only use the one player mode and that you have quite a bit of experience with the nintendo wii as the controls are hard to use. 2115|R25KJ8KEG99MKT;2115|R2C7ZXNZ6U4CXB;2115|R23D2TIL0P924V;
