Product Description

Four more episodes featuring America's favourite dysfunctional animated family. In 'Simpson and Delilah', Homer finds himself on the up after obtaining hair replacement treatments - at Mr Burns' expense. 'One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Blue Fish' finds Homer planning his last day on Earth in meticulous detail after eating a poisonous blowfish at a Japanese restaurant. In 'Homer Alone', Marge takes off for the Rancho Relaxo to get away from her family, leaving Maggie and Lisa in the care of Aunts Patty and Selma, while Homer is left to take care of little Maggie. 'Colonel Homer' sees the Simpson patriarch driven into the arms of country and western singer Lurleen Lumpkin when he turns musical promoter.

4.0 out of 5 stars Badly authored, but great episodes 12 Sep 2007
Yes, Sophia is right, but think about the 4 episodes! They are pure Simpsons gold. Let's go through the episodes, shall we?

Simpson and Delilah:
Homer lies to his company health plan in order to get a drug that restores his hair. With a full head of hair, Homer becomes a wealthy executive, with a loving assistant (Harvey Fierstein) - until a jealous Smithers trips him up.

One Fish, Two Fish, Blowfish, Bluefish:
The Simpsons go to a sushi bar, where Homer inadvertently eats a poisoned blowfish. Confronted with the possibility of his imminent death, Homer makes a list of the things he's wanted to do in life, and races against time to complete them.

Homer Alone:
When Marge freaks out in the middle of a traffic jam, the family sends her to the Rancho Relaxo spa to get her groove back. Bart and Lisa are horrified to be sent to live with their aunts, while Homer, put in charge of just Maggie, promptly loses her.

Colonel Homer:
After an unpleasant trip to The Springfield Googolplex Theater, Homer goes to a cowboy bar for some R & R. He meets Lurleen Lumpkin (Beverly D'Angelo), a country singer whose career he decides to manage. Marge becomes jealous and fears Lurleen is a threat to their marriage. Features the hit song, "Bagged Me A Homer."

There are some fantastic episodes on this DVD, but if you don't like skipping through 'Warning' menus in various language, this DVD isn't for you.

1.0 out of 5 stars Badly authored DVD. 2 Mar 2007
By Sophia
The Simpsons, as always are five star, this rating is for the DVD. Before every episode you have to sit through anti-copying warnings in several languages before the episode starts. If you go back to the main menu and pick another episode the whole set of warnings have to viewed again. Whoever authored this DVD needs to give a bit more respect for his/her paying audience. I recommend you give this DVD a miss.
