I'm a massive Courteney Cox Arquette fan, and have been trying to get hold of this film for months! When I finally got a DVD player, this was the first DVD I watched, and I loved it!
Courteney plays Samantha, who takes the place of her shrink in order to break up her gorgeous next door neighbour and his girlfriend. Samantha reminds me and my friends of Courteney's character Monica from Friends, just a little more "scrunchy".
David Arquette also stars as the loveable Henry, who falls for Samantha when she's in the role of the shrink and he's supposed to be selling magazines. He sings "Let Your Love Flow" several times to calm Samantha's fears of enclosed spaces and airplanes.
Courteney and David's chemistry shines through here, although perhaps not as well as in the Scream trilogy. The other characters are all quirky and interesting, such as the neighbour's french girlfriend who hates Samantha on sight, and Bob who brings Samantha and Henry togehter by nearly killing himself.
My only criticism of the DVD would be that some extra features would have been an added bonus, but the story is geat.
