DAVID COURTNEY is an internationally acclaimed songwriter and record producer having over the past 35 years achieved Platinum, Gold and Silver discs representing the millions of records he has sold worldwide as well as receiving ASCAP awards and a Grammy nomination. He has worked with ROGER DALTRY, JIMMY PAGE, Sir PAUL McCARTNEY, ERIC CLAPTON, STEVE CROPPER, RITCHIE BLACKMORE, DAVID GILMOUR, ADAM FAITH, LEO SAYER and GENE PITNEY. He discovered Leo Sayer in the early 70's and together they wrote classics such as "One Man Band" and "Giving It All Away" for Roger Daltry, he co wrote "The Show Must Go On" which started Leo's solo career as well as writing for DOLLAR "Shooting Star". Now for the first tine we hear the man himself performing his songs.

Now, this album is definitely a treat for music fans.

David Courtney was the man who brought us Leo Sayer. On this album, he is allowed to stretch his wings with some new material and re-interpretations of some wonderful hits he wrote back yonder.

Courtney has a really likeable voice and an ear for a good song/lyric. It is in some ways a puzzle why he was never a major star himself in the Seventies, but this album gives him the chance to flex his creative muscles and show us what he is all about.

Highly recommended - a genuinely terrific album!
