Kate Robinson, twenty-two and cheerfully single, lands a dream assignment: production assistant for a film shoot on the exotic Caribbean hideaway of St Saviour's. With her eye for detail and flair for organising everyone, Kate's in her element. But the beautiful star of the shoot, Jasmine, takes an instant dislike to her ... dark forces are at work on the island ... and a storm is brewing in the Atlantic. When members of her crew start to die, and she is implicated, Kate discovers that filming a TV commercial in the Tropics can actually be murder.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gripping stuff 9 Nov 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Well what an amazing story! The author's yachting experiences around the Caribbean inspire the background for this story, which starts with Kate and a small team who intend to shoot a T.V. commercial in the Caribbean. Things go wrong pretty quickly and Kate's nightmare begins. And it is a nightmare! As if several murders are not bad enough the strange religious beliefs of the local people are exploited by villains and woven horribly into the plot. This story is not for the faint hearted and is maybe a bit exaggerated in places but I found it to be gripping stuff. I wonder what the author will write next he has alredy set the bar pretty high!

3.0 out of 5 stars Three stars says it's OK.... 10 Mar 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
....and that's about it really. The setting is interesting and, as a photographer myself, I was attracted to the premise of the plot. If you can suspend belief better than I was able to in one or two places, you might even give it four stars.

3.0 out of 5 stars Heavy Wicker Man influence 3 Mar 2012
By Marvin
Format:Kindle Edition
A light, easy read thriller, but a bit hackneyed. I felt it was heavily influenced by the 'Wicker Man' but not so dramatic. The explanation at the end was a bit predictable. The sailing scenes were good though, as was the description of the hurricane (not something I would like to experience!). Kate was good, a tough, but vulnerable main character.

Will give Tim's other books a go.
