Great movie. Very funny, awesome cast (Leslie Nielsen as the bad guy is great). Definitely a must see.

Now to the DVD. Its absolutely terrible. One of the worst DVDs I have ever seen. Terrible sound, terrible blurred image. I do not know what they have done there but a 3 year old cell phone makes better videos than this. And this is no exaggeration. The faces are hard to distinguish.

I have to agree with the reviewer from Germany, it,s a great film, but the picture quality leaves a lot to be desired, some of the scenes are slightly out of focus

This is one of my favourite films yet there's something odd about it. It's called a comedy but it changes into a standard, serious western. The start is just about the funniest quarter of an hour you could wish for and it's worth having just for that. Having watched it several times, I can't imagine anyone but Glenn Ford playing the part.

But I agree with other reviewers about the dvd quality. I'm waiting for the Warner Archive version to arrive from Turner Classic Movies; it's clear from the trailer that the quality is superior and therefore not distracting.
