There are so many ipod and iphone speakers on the market now, it is difficult to make the best value for money purchase. After reading some of the iLounge reviews, i decided to go for the Sharper Image speaker. I am not disappointed! It is absolutely fantastic, The sound quality is superb and when placed in your room, the speaker is very slick looking.
The auto rotation makes the speaker even better - let's say you have an iPhone, and you want to watch a movie on it. At the touch of a button, the Rotating Speaker System will turn the iPhone ninety degrees on its side so you can watch it in the proper format.The illuminated controls are good for advancing or going back on playlist tracks, volume control, and play/pause
I can confidently recommend this product - 5 stars from me!

Having been into lots of high street retailers trying the speaker docks they had to offer - I decided to order this one as has better features and I think better value for money, having received mine and now been playing around with it - I made the right choice - works great with my Touch and my new iPhone 4, very good sound quality and a good designer style also - looks great in my lounge.

I bought this speaker to use with my ipod touch 32gb. It also came with adaptors for the iphone and ipod nano.
I have set it up next to my bed and have mainly been using it to watch movies. The sound is very good and the rotation function is just what i needed as i can switch from listening to music to watching a movie at the touch of a button.
I didnt want something cheap and nasty but at the same time I didnt want to spend too much so im really pleased with what i got - a good looking speaker with good clear sound that plays and charges my ipod touch.

It's good but......................
Excellent delivery service from supplier. Unit not quite as I had hoped, buttons on top (volume + and -) slow to react, but volume good, sound quality however not quite so good. Read more

Shipped only with UK socket
The item shipped to mainland Europe with a UK socket plug! There was no attention to this aspect. It makes it extremely complicated and definitely not as safe as the regular plug. Read more
