Very well put together 23 Oct. 2012
By Christopher Boyer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This book was required for a foundational theology class I took as part of a Master's degree, and I found it to be well written and organized. Nichols does a great job expanding on ideas and explaining the rationale behind the tenants of Catholic theology. It will serve the budding theologian as well as anyone looking to gain a deeper insite into the theology of the Catholic faith well!

Excellent overview on the sources of catholic theology 25 Jun. 2014
By Michael Kiessling - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This was an excellent read on the basic principles and sources for catholic theology. The book discusses scripture, tradition and the magisterium and proper hermeneutical principles in a way that is easy to read. I have read the book more than fourteen years ago I think and I still have it on my shelf. You can't you loose on this buy.

Packed for of Information 19 Oct. 2013
By HowDoUKnowtheBibleIsInspiredandInerrant? - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This is book is loaded on each page with information. Some but not all of it, like much of theology, requires slow, careful reading and the use of a dictionary. This is not a speed read but certainly a great book to have on the book shelf that one can dive into. I would say the text itself is college level and above.
