A Kid's Review
Please - I Implore you if you're a pistols fan dont be tempted to buy this awful dvd.Its just a load of talking heads (Alan Parker - how did you end up on this rubbish??) spouting on over a "rock" track with some pistols clips in the background.Their comments are inane at best and wildly misinformed and inaccurate at worst. If you want a real tribute to the band bypass this totally and get The Filth and The Fury or There'll always be an England. If you must get a talking head dvd go for the Punk Icons one - its not great either but knocks spots off this one.
You have been warned.......

I only paid 1p for this and even then it struggles to be value for money. There are four guys talking about a band they seem to know very little about. The first guy makes claims such as 'Malcolm created the band to be involved in the new punk rock movement' and 'Sid killed Nancy with a drugs overdose'. Even Pistols expert Alan Parker gets his facts wrong. One young guy hadn't even heard of the Sex Pistols until 13 months after they had split up! The only interesting comments come from a guy who use to work at EMI in 1976 and they are few and far between. There is NO music/comments from the band and the pictures of the group only appear in the back ground and aren't very clear. If you want to collect everything, buy it a cheaply as possible and put it on the shelf next to the better quality Pistols DVD's available and forget about it!

PUNK PERFECTION 9 April 2007
The best of all time - I never saw them live - so this is the next best thing.

Without doubt the best tribute to Johnny And the boys.
