5.0 out of 5 stars An Amazing Reference Book! 13 Aug 2014
By D. Pryor - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Spiral-bound|Verified Purchase
This book is extremely helpful! I have other sewing books but they do not take the time to show you step by step pictures of every process. Sometimes other books just tell you what this technique is. This book tells you what the technique or item is, why and when it's used, and gives you the steps to do it yourself. I could not ask for a better reference book. It's got loads of helpful information. I highly recommend it to people just starting to sew as well as veteran seamstresses.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent resource for beginner and intermediate level sewing skills 26 July 2014
By Debbie Farr - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Spiral-bound
Received this yesterday after pre-ordering it months ago when reading details about it on the authors sewing blog (sewaholic.net). I really like the clear pictures, easy to follow instructions and relaxed style of writing. It is great for beginners although if you are very experienced I would think you may want something more advanced. But as I'm relatively new to sewing, this is just superb as an easy to understand, clearly explained reference book. Very happy with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent resource 22 July 2014
By S. Dean - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I recently used this book as a resource to help me sew French seams in a sheer blouse. It was easy to understand and each step was explained. It has excellent tips and instruction. Very well written. I purchased the kindle version for my iPad and I like it very much. Very good photos to illustrate the steps. Next I want to use it to learn how to underline a garment.

5.0 out of 5 stars very happy :-) 25 July 2014
By Elizabeth Bradford - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Spiral-bound
I have really enjoyed reading this book :-) the instructions for the different techniques are well written and the pictures are big. I also enjoyed being able to look up techniques whilst I was sewing to see if Tasia suggests a different technique than the pattern I was sewing - so far, sometimes she does and sometimes she doesn't. Well worth it :-)
