Good old school metal album, sounds from the underground.

This is my first ever Al Atkins cd I owned. I read a couple of reviews online, had a couple of extra bucks, and said what the heck let me take a chance. This is a really good old school metal album...Al to my surprise sounds good for a guy whose been in the business for 40 years. His vocal delivery is very similar to how Dan McCafferty of Nazareth sounds nowadays, whiskey-soaked and rough around the edges but decent enough. The music especially the guitar playing is well done. However the production has a demo quality to it and leaves alot to be desired. The highlights are Dreamcatcher and Fight, really good songs. If you like old school metal, or Judas Priest, you'll dig some songs on this.
