The September-11 Code: The Most Enlightening Revelations in 2000 Years [Paperback]

In the early years of my life, my father did his best to interest me in
mathematics, numbers and dreams. My father said, numbers are important and so
are dreams. He had many illustrations of how he had found solutions to his
challenges in dreams, especially numbers found there. Ultimately I skipped the
mathematics part after studying calculus, and finding it a useless tool for my
early interests, but numbers and dreams were a fascinating study. Both have been
and still are a life long interest. Like both my father and author Downie,
I frequently get messages and solutions to challenges in my dreams. Admittedly,from
time to time I use the scriptures as a sort of personal oracle. Skeptical at times,
just like the author, I found few folks in the Judeo-Christian communities in which
I lived who were interested. Often they were hostile to the idea of biblical
scripture being anything more than a literal tale. Thus, I found myself readily
aligned with the author's experiences and my interest engaged from page one of
this fascinating book. Nor could I put the book down until I finished reading
its brilliant and dazzling alpha-mumeric treatise of biblical encoding
that convincingly denotes the terrible terroist events that traumatized the
world on 9/11. The mysterious and uncanny correspondences are carefully laid out
in easy to comprehend patterns which lead one to consider Downie's interpretations
as truth of the highest order. I rarely give a 5 star reviewe, but this book is very
well done, and certainly deserves a 5 star rating. This is a must read book,
not just for those who like numbers and/or dreams but for everyone who is on a
spiritual path. Sincs whether we know it or not, or acknowledge it or not, we
are all pursuing a spiritual path, that means this book has been Divinely created
for everyone! Kudos to the author William Downie who brought us this brilliant gift.

I had the privilege of reading the manuscript for this book prior to its publication. I've been following Downie's work with English gematria as he has applied it to the NIV (New International Version) Bible for several years and I've often been amazed by the discoveries he's made. I didn't know, however, any of the remarkable, and sometimes unexplainable phenomena he has experienced in his personal life. The experiences ranged from prophetic dreams and cryptic visions to uncanny "coincidences" that were not only related to his work but ultimately served as guiding lights, showing him the way along his road less traveled, ultimately culminating in a spectacular piece of work: The September-11 Code. Downie hides none of this from the reader. He bravely and unashamedly discusses all of it so the reader can appreciate the full impact it had on his life and on the writing of this book.

Could it possibly be true that the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 was foretold throughout the scriptures of the Holy Bible? Has William H. Downie truly discovered a code that proves this admittedly outrageous claim? And can it be true that the English language and the alphabet we use to write that language have been somehow encoded or "programed" in such a way that they can be used to decipher hidden "truths" within seemingly random and unrelated portions of text, especially within the NIV Bible? Can it be true that Downie was miraculously given a "key" to unlock the coded messages within that version of the Bible?

Marcello Truzzi, founding co-chairman of the Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal (CSICOP), a founder of the Society for Scientific Exploration, and director for the Center for Scientific Anomalies Research has been credited as being the originator of this phrase: "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof." I believe Downie would agree with that admonition. His book, The September-11 Code, is his attempt to provide just such extraordinary proof.

Has he succeeded? Readers, of course, will judge for themselves. Some will say yes. Some will say no. Some will remain on the fence. Some will say it's inspired by angels and some will say it's the work of the Devil. What I can't imagine, however, is anyone saying that The September-11 Code is not an enlightening and awe-inspiring testimony to Downie's genius and his remarkable perseverance to overcome the many obstacles, both personal and societal, that often threatened his progress throughout his long, strange journey.

In my opinion, it's people like Downie and books like The September-11 Code that make life really, really intriguing. Just when you think you've heard it all, along comes something like this. I can't help but be reminded of Shakespeare's famous line from Hamlet: "There are more things in Heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy".

I highly recommend The September-11 Code to anyone who's not afraid to take a peek behind the curtain.
