I bought Lee Gilbert's book - The Secrets of the Serious Players' Webmaster - hoping that it would help me make sense of internet marketing, keywords, websites, etc.
It did that and more.
Gilbert explains everything really clearly, so that even a newbie (and technophobe!) like me can make sense of things. Gilbert has a style that makes his book very readable, AND enjoyable too!
The book has helped me to understand keyword research, the basics of SEO and PPC and the essential points of email marketing. I searched the internet for weeks trying to find information on these topics but I could have saved myself a LOT of time by just getting "The Secrets of the Serious PLayer's webmaster" and reading that!
I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who wants to make sense of internet marketing, niche markets online, websites, SEO, PPC and so on.
You'll save yourself a lot of time; you'll find all the main information in one place; and you'll find it very easy to read and assimilate that information because of Gilbert's clear style of writing.

This book is packed full of excellent information on everything you'll need to know about how to make a web business and then to market it. It's even suitable for complete novices like me because it explains the detail and gives examples of everything. If you have or are planning an online business then this is an extremely useful addition to your library and it also includes some of the secrets and strategies that many others are not brave enough to divulge. I would highly recommend "The Webmaster" as he really does know what he's talking about and has helped me understand so much more about the wonderful workings of the internet without spending a fortune!
