4.0 out of 5 stars Makes me want to get and find a red piece. 14 Nov 2013

Great little book about collecting Sea glass. I loved the part that explained about how rare certain colors if glass are. I will now try to get out and search for pinks and reds! Great book for those who live near the ocean. Practical book for kids and adults. Children who live far from the sae might be interested too. Hunting Sea glass is so relaxing and you can do it year round even in winter.
1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money 27 Mar 2014

There is little information in this short book. Do a search for "sea glass" on Google and you'll find more than you need to know in one or two good websites.
3.0 out of 5 stars Understanding Treasures from the Sea 25 Mar 2014
By P. Matthews - Published on Amazon.com

It is a nice book with beautiful colored pictures of sea glass treasures from the storm. It was a nice book but left me wanting more details about sea glass. Maybe a story or two of the experiences of finding theses treasures and what was discovered. A little more sea glass color information should have been included like "milk glass", "carnival glass", etc. It is a good book for a beginner sea glass explorer.

This book is ok, not what I thought it would be. It's more of a book for kids to read
3.0 out of 5 stars Not really a secret... 12 Dec 2013

Informative little book that I think is meant mainly for children. It gives a broad explanation of what it is and where the glass comes from.
