5.0 out of 5 stars What was the secret? 19 Sep 2011
By Helen B
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I was first attracted by the title (in fact I bought the wrong book while searching for a paperback)and then by the very attractive cover, having found the author in an Amazon discussion thread. Of course I wanted to know what the secret was ~ and at first it seemed to be the ID of the murderer. Then as the story progressed, I began to suspect each character in turn as the author cleverly planted misleading clues and pleasant diversions. Funny too in the case of the chocolate body paint! Scary in the case of the storm and car accident. The final revelation was not a complete shock as by then the killer had nothing left to lose. Funny, sad, romantic, sexy, intriguing and a great read.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a smorgasbord! 10 April 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
This book has it all - romance, murder, mystery, travel, interior decorating, and a healthy woman who eats chocolate! When James returns from a work trip, he discovers his flat-mate has been murdered. Although he has trouble accepting a break-up with his former girlfriend, he and his best friend, Fran, finally become lovers. The story follows their search for the truth in their lives, and how it affects and intertwines with all the other individuals.

Great character development and descriptions - you could easily identify with the people, places, and fabulous meals! Ms. Warburton did a wonderful job of creating an emotional plotline and weaving the personalities and events into a believable story. Well written and edited, she has a talent for plotting a tale and tying it all together into a satisfying ending.
