What a superb CD! Anyone who has seen the film should buy this soundtrack. All of the classic songs are here. You even get three tracks taken straight from the films score, written by David Foster.
Listening to this CD really brings back the magic and emotion of the film. This really is 80's music at its best. Buy it with confidence!

5.0 out of 5 stars My vote for best soundtrack of all time!!! 6 Jan 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Audio CD
I've had this soundtrack (on cassette) since I was in high school. I have to get it on CD just in case the cassette ever gets eaten. The title track by Nightranger continues to be my favorite, "Get Pumped" song -- if you're in sales like me you'll know what I mean. The rest of the cuts are excellent as well -- the only thing missing unfortunately is the song "Oh Yeah" by Yello. Given this shortcoming, this still remains one of my favorite albums of all time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great toe tapping tunes 8 Jun 2000

The Secret of my Success is a funny, witty movie, it is one of my all time favorites. I first watched it when I graduated from college and can relate to wanting to climb to the top like Brantley Foster. The music is upbeat and lively. The only bad song on it is Riskin a Romance by Banarama. It sticks out like a sore thumb on the album, but the rest of the songs are sheer fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fox at his height!! 21 Nov 2002

The secret's out: this is an awesome record!!
The title track of this album will surely get you pumped, but the other songs rock as well. Roger Daltrey's "Price of Love", for instance, is comparable to his best years with The Who...The soundtrack, though, is prime-time 80s. Take a seat, relax, and get ready to have some fun - with a capital F!
At any rate, hope ya' dig the soundz to this cd. PEACE!!!!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Make sure you understand what you're getting before you buy 27 Sep 2002
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com

The selections on this soundtrack are pretty good but I couldn't help feeling disappointed with it because it lacked the biggest hit song which was the centerpiece of the movie: Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves. Unfortunately I didn't check the song list carefully enough before I bought. Don't repeat my mistake.
