I bought this for my wife and she gave it 5 stars. Then one of our Grandaughters heard it and she said it was a 5 star PLUS!! How can you argue with a 10 year old?
Seriously though, this is a very well produced classic story and includes the sorely missed Beryl Read. It's one of the BBC's "full cast dramatisation" stories and, in our opinion, one of their best. Can't fault it.

Great! My daughter (9)loved the dvd of this so bought her the udio cd to listen to at bedtime - she loves it and plays it every night!

I'm really glad I got this. It kept 3 children enthralled on a long car journey home one day - and again on later trips. The casting is excellent and really captured the spirit of the story - well done!

Perfect for long journey
Bought to use when my nephews are in the car they love it. Keeps them entertained for hours, when on a long journey.

Great in the car
Excellent adaptation, kept my 7 year old enthralled for the 2 hours or so playing time. My 5 year old was less interested though .....

These audio books are marvellous, my daughter is so pleased with this additional one to add to her collection, I copy them all onto her ipod
