There's something weird going on in the woods where Ax lives. A logging company has moved in and the camp is protected with a forcefield and armed guards. It's got to be a Yeerk plan, which could end in disaster for the Animorphs, for if the woods are destroyed, Ax will have nowhere left to hide.

5.0 out of 5 stars Skunk spray! 22 May 1999
By A Customer
In this book, the Animorphs have a wonderful revenge on Visser 3. At first, Cassie (who writes the book) is very sad: she has told thousands of lies to her parents. Then the book becomes very exciting and, at the end, incredibly funny. Cassie morphs ... Find out yourselves, and I've given hints! It certainly cheers Cassie up. This is one of the best Animorphs that I have read.

5.0 out of 5 stars the secret 18 April 2005
By secret - Published on
My thought of the secret is that is greatly written not over dramatic and it does not take along time to get into the action of the book it was good i am at the part where they are just about to turn into the termites in sneak into the yeerks loging camp to me my favroite charcter is tobias. This book is a good book to any one that likes the series it would also be good for anyone just beging to read but around the age of six.The suspense of the book is great they put in just enough not to much not to little.

5.0 out of 5 stars THe Funniest Cassie Book 25 Aug 2004
A Kid's Review - Published on
Usually I don't like the Cassie books as much(except for #19)- but this one was great! From begining to end this one is great.

My only problem with it is that everything seemsto fall in to place perfectly sometimes with the Animorphs.

4.0 out of 5 stars One of the Better Books 18 April 1999
By A Customer - Published on
This book is definatley one of the good ones. In The Secret Cassie and the other animorphs find out that the yeerks are planning to destroy the forest that Ax and Tobias live in. Also, Cassie rescues some baby skunks.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book was possibly the best Animorphs. 29 Dec 1998
By A Customer - Published on
This one was packed with laughs, mixed with pretty bad instincts. The Yeerks come in the forest, cut it down, get caught, usual story. Cassie and Marco morph termites, bad idea. When Cassie sprays Homer in skunk morph, I can't help but laugh at Ax: "That is quite possibly the worst thing I have ever smelled", and "I may have to run away in terror". I mean, the dude's hilarious. All in all, great book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Animorphing Time! 21 July 2010

Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I loved this series so much when I was a child. It actually is the sole reason I am such an avid reader today. I gave away my entire collection in fifth grade to my library so others could enjoy the series and have regretted it ever since. So now I am putting it back together buying used versions and treating them with a product libraries use to protect their books. I highly recommend these books they are a quick read and very entertaining.
