To be honest, you wouldn't think that Hulk Hogan, a wrestler, would really be much good in films. You would be wrong. In fact he is very good, as we can see in his performances in 'Thunder In Paradise' and 'Suburban Commando'. I not saying that he is a brilliant actor, because he's not, but i guess when he's playing a tough guy in a film with plenty of action, his acting ability doesn't seems to matter that much.

Unfortunatly the storyline is very weak and unbeliveable but never the less, still entertaining. Hulk Hogan plays a man who unbeknown to his son, is actually a undercover secret agent who has got hold of a new military weopon, which the 'baddies' will go to great lengths to get.

Despite the fact that Hulk Hogan is not the best actor in the world, the rest of the cast are generally quite good, however i have to say that i would be more scared of a two year old baby than the baddie in this film.

So, what do i think? Overall it's not such a bad film, and is pretty entertaining, especially for young children. Buy it and see what you think, but i will warn you that you may be a little dissappointed

Another Family Friendly Flick from the Hulkster 28 Mar 2005
By Gary Young - Published on Amazon.com
Format:DVD
"The Secret Agent Club" is probably one of Hulk Hogan's better vehicles. Well... at least it's a major imrovement over "Santa With Muscles".

The plot is straight foward enough. Hogan plays a secret agent who steals a prototype laser gun away from some bad guys(played hammily by Lesley Ann Down and Richard Moll). Back at home, Hogan(whose own son doesn't know what he really does for a living) has his cover blown when he is kidnapped by the bad guys. The gun falls into the hands of the son who hatches a plan to rescue his dad with the help of his young friends.

Pretty typical family action film, mainly notable for the fact that it predates the similarly themed(and far more successful) "Spy Kids". It has a few slow stretches, but overall "The Secret Agent Club" is a movie the kids will like... and the parents can tolerate.

Pretty Good!!! 28 Dec 2009

I received this as a Christmas present. I thought this movie was alright, but it's nowhere near as good as 'Suburban Commando' Hulk Hogan plays a dad named Ray Chase. Ray is a Secret Agent to stops terrorists, but to his son, he is a nerdy toy salesman. When Ray is kidnapped, his son Jeremy and his friends form a plan and save Ray from a guns dealer. I'd probably recommend SECRET AGENT CLUB!!!
