Very good read 1 Nov 2011
Format:Paperback
This book is very nice and easy to read. It covers a lot of topics and gives some nice tips. You'll find something that works for you. It doesn't give you answers to everything of course and I read this towards the end of my second pregnancy and felt good about the stuff that I did with my first child to prepare for the arrival of the second one and not so good about the stuff I failed to do (like getting a single bed for my toddler plenty of time before the arrival of my baby - which is great - and then having my toddler moving back in my bed because I was feeling too tired to keep up with his bedtime routine!), but it also gave me a chance to mentally 'note down' quite a few points that I'd like to keep in mind when my second child comes. I'll be re-reading certain chapters when the time comes!

I'd recommend this as something to read a few months before your baby comes.

I found this book really useful. I bought it when I'd already had my second baby and wished that I'd read it whilst I was pregnant. The book is divided in to useful sections so you can consult a specific area when you have a specific problem. Most of all I found the case studies really reassuring. It was great to know that I was not the only one finding the transition from 1 to 2 difficult!
