Praise for the books of William Casey Moreton:

"...Moreton keeps readers hooked." -- Kirkus Reviews

"....Moreton is a superb and inspired storyteller and with so many mediocre books being published, this is a relatively rare feat." -- Deadly Pleasures

For fans of Harlan Coben, David Baldacci, and John Grisham, here is white-knuckle suspense at its finest:

John Mabry is a wealthy, self-made man whose life takes a tragic turn when his wife's flight to Brazil vanishes over international waters. His world suddenly upside-down, he embarks on a desperate search for answers as the official rescue effort begins. As he races to find his wife, John is pursued by a cold-blooded killer when he becomes entangled in a scheme to steal millions of dollars from a New York Mafia boss. In the rush of action as the search intensifies, John’s life becomes a high-stakes guessing game of learning who to trust and who to fear.

WILLIAM CASEY MORETON grew up in the South and graduated college in 1993 with a degree in Religious Studies. He is the author of seven novels, including THE STRANGER BESIDE YOU, NEVER BACK DOWN, and 72 HOURS. Moreton is a member of International Thriller Writers, and lives with his wife and children in the Midwest where he is at work on his next book.

3.0 out of 5 stars The Search: A Thriller 7 Sep 2011

I enjoyed the book in spite of the editing. Fast pace, good plot. I have one more William Casey's books to read and I doubt that I will order any more of his books due to the poor editing, mispelled words and words you have to read twice to decide what he meant. Though the book is a reasonable price, it isn't worth reading with all the errors one continues to find throughout the book. Same problem, even worse with the previous book I read of his.

3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent story line badly edited 8 Jun 2011

Like another reviewer, I had to finally start skipping whole segments of text to get through the book. Although you have to suspend some belief in reality to get into the book, it's a good story that is in need of a good editor who is not afraid to chop unnecessary and boring sections.

3.0 out of 5 stars Seriously needs a good editor 17 May 2011

There seems to be new characters & new sub plots in every chapter. I finally got bored with it & started skipping chapters that moved too far from the main plot. By doing my own form of editing I found the book more enjoyable.
