Absolutely a must have book before attending any MCA Deck Oral Exam. It's a unusual book. It's a list of possible Oral Exam Questions with the answers given. Will give you an idea of what you may be asked and how the examiner will conduct the examination. The book is divided into sections in according to the grade of exam you are taking. There is not a specific section for Yacht (the book was made for Merchant officer and master exams) but I did use this book for my MCA Yacht Master oral exam and I passed it. But be aware do not use only this book for prepare the exam, this is just a way to test your preparation.
Included in the book there is a CD too. With all the possible ColRegs questions. It's not just a light combination it's a simulator with a built in radar: Very useful for the Colregs Rule 19 questions.

This book contains hundreds of questions for MCA Orals and the answers.
Very helpfull for the preparation for the exam as it gives the reader an idea of the questions likely to be asked.The book comes with a training cdrom -an extra bonus-.Good value!
