If you ever wondered how Great Britain lost its greatness - this book has a few answers. It is not just a book for our time, it is a book for all time. Joss Ackland's interpretation borders on the supernatural. This is a jewel of an audiobook.

wormwood a "begginer" devil at trying to turn people away from god. is written by his uncle, screwtape, on how to do this. in the end wormwood fails and the pacient dies. very good book for understanding how c.s. lewis writes. i thought it was entertaining and i recommend it for all religions.
I'm almost SURE I first heard this recording with Sir John Gielgud as the senior devil,portrayed so perfectly as he filled the main characters' voice with Seething Menace.
