Product Description

Review

... clear, sensible route plans that are as up-to-date as it is possible to be in a compact book ... no doubt this new edition will prove invaluable to a new generation of walkers (Glasgow Herald)

This guide is indispensable for any walker or climber contemplating the Scottish mountains ... compact enough to fit into your rucksack or back pocket ... don't think about trying a challenging walk without it (Sunday Telegraph)

About the Author

Walter Poucher, the renowned mountain photographer, walked and climbed in Britain's hills for more than half a century. He was the author of 41 photographic books, many of which were bestsellers for decades. Before he retired he had been Chief Perfumer with Yardley for 30 years. He died in 1988. His walking guides have been updated where necessary in consultation with John Poucher, the author's son.
