I also borrowed the Latvia Thomas Cook guide and another guide from the library. These alternatives were truly pathetic compared with the range, accuracy and usability of the Rough Guide.

I bought this book as well as the lonely planet equivalent for a recent trip to Estonia. I found them both useful, although probably preferred the rough guide. It was the one that I carried in my pocket most of the time and it was very useful and easy to use with good clear mapping and useful information about accomodation and eating venues etc. I was glad to have taken both, but if I went back with just one, it would be the rough guide. A very useful book for a very interesting region.

Excellent - arrived promptly and is very good quality. I would have no problems in recommending this item and this service to other buyers. It was indispensible to me when I travelled the 3 countries last Summer!
