I usually don't write reviews, but I have a couple of things to say about the 'Anniversary Edition'. It is indeed a great collector's item, but it's best to own to proper original soundtrack first. Alot of the tracks from the movie version are missing and replaced with the original Roxy cast. I personally have no complaints about this as I already own 2 copies of the original soundtrack. Another thing is that, the last track is listed as 'Damian - Time Warp (1989 Mix)' This is incorrect, It is infact a remix that was made by another artist and featured on a later version of the soundtrack. Not sure who it was, but it most deffinately isnt the Damian version. The Damian version had re-recorded vocals and was abit funky, intendeded for disco's and such. So this is false! No Damian version on this album. The second disc has some belters, with the exception of the cast tracks. I've seen numerous productions of the show, nothing new to me. But may go down well with Rocky newbies. However it does contain a selection of the 'best' tracks from the follow up 'Shock Treatmeant'. So overall, I give the album 4 Stars for those reasons. It's pretty much what you'd expect from 'Castle Music'. But still, get the OFFICIAL soundtrack before venturing into this one.
