Imagine graduating from teacher college and then realizing you cannot stand the confines of The Education Establishment. Then chance throws you back in contact with your best friend in college who feels the exact same way. You've both gone from one job to another, even joining a band for a while.
Now, add to that a solid running social commentary between these two people that someone like Abby Shuto on NCIS would absolutely love and would call it `trippy', which it is.
There is probably not any subject that does not get discussed and you get to be witness to it.
After reading this delightful book, if anyone asks you any question on politics, you will have a point of view on it and will be able to back it up - because you were fantastically present for the discussions. You were sitting in the car or hotel room with these two society drop-outs getting high and eating pizza.
Where's another Jethro Gibbs that rescues high intellectuals and gives jobs? These two need stable jobs. Oh wait, no. Then we wouldn't get anymore road trips.
Fantastic book which expands the mind in a laid back sort of way. Easy reading - no pressure. Highly recommended.
