I haven't seen V for victory, but do have Road racers. Road racers is a must watch fly on the wall documentary from the 70's. I've been to N Ireland numerous times over the last 8 years (and canned my bike around the Ulster Gp "circuit")to watch Road racing (makes the TT look boring)and recognise most of the circuits (public closed off roads)that are featured in this film. The style is more of a 1970's BBC2 documentary and makes you realise how crap tv is now, and how times have changed - these guys are riding bikes that aren't much slower than modern bikes, yet they haven't got (weren't invented then) back protectors etc, just waffer thin leathers and end up racing with injuries that would stop you or I going to work for months, let alone get on a bike. 2 of the 3 featured racers were killed shortly after the film, and joey dunlop died a few years ago in another accident. Top men. Unmissable. If you are into bikes - why haven't you watched it? If you're not - it's a gripping, you're immersed, what happens next documentary.
