The Ringers' Handbook is a great little book for anyone learning change ringing. It covers right from learning the basics of handling a bell through to methods.
The authors have organised the book in method sections which is good so that you can move on at any point... e.g. You want to learn Bob doubles, then you want to learn the "Bob's" in Bob Doubles, they are all in the same chapter. The methods are also organised in a simple way, moving from the easier methods; doubles and minor and then, in the last chapter, explaining the extensions or more complicated methods.
Although the book was written some time ago it is still very much relevant, they contain footnotes on some pages, explaining what parts/ phrases/ words mean.
Overall, this book is ideal for any Change Ringer and would be very good if placed in a tower as people who are sitting out could read/revise what they had been learning.
