5.0 out of 5 stars The Whole Systems Approach to Understanding Conflict 16 Aug 2014

If you want to get a glimpse of the foundational work behind Spiral Dynamics and Dr. Beck's work with Large-Scale Psychology in South Africa, Israel and Palestine, you should read this book. It is truly one of the earliest articulations that pioneered the integral approach to resolving large-scale conflict. By adopting an interdisciplinary approach to history, political science, rhetoric, and the behavioral sciences, Dr. Beck created one of the first integral models that address the interior collective and the systems aspect of the integral theory/framework. This is the powerful document aimed at examining human behavior under conflict conditions and should be made a requirement reading for anyone who wants to understand the nature of conflict.
