Format: Paperback
This book is totally unique in challenging and asking the searching questions on how do we care for our dying in a post modern society.

I would recomend it to anyone working within the palliative care profession or funeral trade.

Even though written many years ago, it is as relevant now as it was then. Maybe more relevant now as it was so ahead of its time.

Read it & enjoy !

this is a good book if you are looking for a sociological gaze of the experience of death and dying though the case of hospice environment in the UK. if you looking for a more theoretical discussion of death between modern and postmodernism, it only hits you briefly at them, but can be of help
