The plot of this book was entirely predictable and as others have said, there were several typos which makes the book appear amateurish. There were several points that were simply ill thought through and entirely impossible - going to Paris for lunch from New York? How would that work then, if it was 10.30 am in New York when the idea was suggested, it is a 6 hour or so flight to Paris, plus Paris is 6 hours ahead of New York, meaning that even if the flight set off the moment the idea was suggested (unlikely), they still would not arrive in Paris until at least 10.30pm, but presumably much later having factored in time to get to the plane, time to get the plane prepared for an impromptu trans-atlantic flight, approval of the route by air traffic control etc etc etc.

Overall, the book reads as though it has been written by a teenager. I found myself losing patience with it and only finished it because it had been paid for. If it had been a free book, it would have been relegated to the "archive" long before the end.

The Revenge Date seemed to be a promising read.

Lots of opportunity for a bit of girly humour and general romantic fun. I could have even gotten over the many typos but alas, there were several elements that took the story in a completely different direction from the fun 'romantic comedy' it was supposed to be.

From the offset I got that the main character Rosie was into sex (and lots of it). I really didn't see why the author had to be so candid about Rosie's sexual exploits throughout the book. In fact I don't think I ever warmed to liked her character and her unwarranted arrogance. She was supposedly gorgeous but seriously, there are lots of gorgeous girls out there who aren't selfish sluts with no direction in life. Would it kill the author to give her some depth? Even if she started off as a horrible person, the character Rosie needed to grow through the book and from what I read, she didn't. Did she ever really find a life direction in the end btw? I don't think so!

Anyway, there were just too many little deviating, confusing story lines that ultimately sums up to be a story about finding love although I didn't get any romantic connection between her and her love interest, Alex, other than her private lust for him and a few conversations in which he doesn't seem to be interested in her sexually.

What a short, weird book with an abrupt 'The End'.

I found this book entertaining, it was funny and light-hearted. However, there are quite a lot of errors (wrong words used, incorrect spelling, words missing etc.) - possibly the best example of this is when the author refers to consciousness students rather than conscientious students. I think this book would benefit from being proofread, but I still would buy the author's next book, as I like the stories she comes up with.

I liked the idea for this short story and usually ignore the odd typo; unfortunately there were so many that what should have been an easy, comfortable read was instead stilted and irritating when not only grammatical and spelling errors popped up but even occasionally wrong entire words!

It took me about two hours to read the entire story which, although a little predictable, I found fun and un-put-down-able. Without giving too much away I'm happy that Rosie - the annoying main character - was given a dose of reality before the happy conclusion of the story.

For what I paid, I'm happy and would read another book by this author - and hopefully there wouldn't be so many typos again! At least now I've been reminded never to rely on a computer for spell-checking!

One of the worst books I have ever read. I downloaded about 3 weeks ago and it has more typos than one would think possible - probably the transfer from paper book to ebook, but even so, it was very distracting.

Storyline implausible (no, there really is no *one* woman every man wants to shag), characters dull and one dimensional, plot predictable (even though entirely unrealistic) and no development of the story.

Only plus point is that it was so basic I managed to read it over two nights, it was more like a magazine short story than a book.

I couldn't decide whether to read this or not and then it came down in price to under a pound and I thought that I would give a go. I made the wrong choice. It sounded like a fun plot line, but in practice the story was so shallow that it was infuriating. The twist was obvious early on and since there was no character development the final HEA was unfortunately completely unbelievable. The poor spelling was an added irritant (some possibly a result of spellcheck guessing the wrong version).

I really liked this book because it was easy to read and the story line had me turning page after page. I enjoyed the shocks and stumbles across the story but I did feel it was a little short and was hoping for more! I also found it hard to warm to the main character as she wasnt the nicest of people. However well worth the pennies that I paid for it and would recommend to anyone wanting a short easy to read rom-com.

Sorry - I hate to be negative but I'm glad I paid under £1 for this! It sounded like it was self-published with no grammar or spell-checking, and for a writer (I'm a freelance writer myself) reading it on holiday, it was incredibly frustrating finding my work head kicking in every five minutes when I spotted another error!

Not only that, the main character is horrible, the plot unlikely to the extreme, the dialogue implausible and the idea of this mythical woman who everybody wants to have sex with because she is SO DAMN GORGEOUS is just laughable. especially when she is portrayed as a complete cow!

The ending is silly and happens out of nowhere, although given the amateurishness of the book, it was bound to end in the way it did. Cue 'generic chick-lit ending'. I usually love this type of book but nu-huh. Avoid this unless you want to spend an inordinate amount of time correcting the mistakes in your head...
