At times horrifying and disturbing to read, but impossible to put down. This book delves into every event that happened to Andrei Chikatilo that made him what he is. It details all of the murders (sometimes a little too much). By halfway through the book, you feel like you should be watching your back as how can bars or even death stop such a monster? At times you even pity Chikatilo, but it soon passes.
The best book about a criminal I have ever read. Highly recommended, I was left feeling completely satisfied unlike other books which leave you with questions.
Just one question - how is it that Ted Bundy is more infamous that this beast?
