an eastern mind understands jesus' mission 8 Feb 2000
By philip powell - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
this book was not an easy read for a lay young person but i am glad i still read it. reading this book made realize how little as christians we hear what 'others' are saying. the authour overcomes the listening problem and uses what the three theologians are saying to clarify and crytalize for us the mission of jesus to the world. an excellent book to read to understand the uniquieness of jesus and his message in our pluralistic society.

I just didn't enjoy it. 5 Dec 2012
By Moira Tescher - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I felt this was dense and boring. I had to read it. I didn't enjoy it, at some points I felt that he was really going way too in depth with concepts that didn't require such complex explanation.
