This is a release of 3 great books, a collaborative trilogy by three authors - The Ramirez bride by Emma Darcy, The Brazilian's blackmailed bride by Michelle Reid and The Disobedient Virgin by Sandra Marton.
The trilogy is about three half -brothers on three different continents born to a Brazilian billionaire polo player cum playboy. They had no knowledge of each other's existence. Apart from the eldest Nick Ramirez who knew their father the rest did not even know that they were fathered by this billionaire playboy. Imagine their surprise and how their life was turned upside down when at his death he left each a bequest with stringent conditions that required the quest for true love as a mandatory fulfilment if they wished to gain their inheritance and knowledge of each other.

THE RAMIREZ BRIDE by Emma Darcy tells the story of the Australian Nick Ramirez the eldest of the three brothers. He is a self made man, rejected by his step father and eschewed by his real father. Growing up with all this rejection, Nick felt like a lost soul and at eighteen he tried again to re-establish relations with his real father but he rejected him once again, and Nick defiantly took the Ramirez name by deed poll and went on to build a business empire to rival his father's. So imagine his surprise sixteen years later, on receiving a packet from Brazil from his late father and his obstinate reluctance to open it. The content of the package stunned him as he realised how intimately his late father knew the details of his life.
The task he set him was - ` to find a woman he loved, marry her, have a child and set up family life... to stop flitting aimlessly from woman to woman in an empty relationship' this was the precondition to claiming his inheritance and discovering the identity of his half-brothers. Will Nick comply with the wishes of the father who repeatedly rejected him while he was alive or will his obstinacy and pride prevent him from discovering his half brothers?

THE BRAZILIAN'S BLACKMAILED BRIDE by Michelle Reid tells the story of the Englishman Anton Luis Scott-Lee the only son of the Brazilian beauty Maria Ferreira and the wealthy English banker Sebastian Scott -Lee. Upon receiving the package from Brazil his whole world became topsy-turvy when he found out that the man he thought was his father was not his father and that his whole life had been a lie. He felt not only violated by his Brazilian father but betrayed by his mum and dad, because they lied to him all his life.
The task his Brazilian father set him was `.... to amend his philandering ways and make reparations to the woman he ran out on six years ago leaving her in dire straits' The woman in question was Christina Marques a Portuguese beauty who had humiliated Anton six years earlier. Will Anton seek revenge or will his desire to know his brothers allow him to give cupid's arrow a chance?

THE DISOBEDIENT VIRGIN by Sandra Marton tells the story of the American Jake Ramirez, a tycoon amongst tycoons, a self made man who is very down to earth. Brought up by his single parent mother, Jake believed himself to be the son of a poor Hispanic boy who died a hero in a vicious unheralded war in the jungles of South America . The day that changed Jake's life started like any other day, until he opened the package from Brazil and discovered that his father was a Brazilian playboy and all the tales his loving mother told him up till then was a big fat lie; and that he has three half brothers he knew nothing about. Jake did not care for the inheritance but desperately wanted to meet his brothers. But can he fulfil the terms and conditions of his fathers will to be able to do that?
His task was -`to nurture and protect Catrina Mendes his fathers ward, introduce her to polite society and to men of good character and excellent means, and see to it that she marries such a man within two months so that Catrina can meet the conditions of her own inheritance'
Catrina Elena Teresa Mendes has been living in a convent for the past eight years since her parents died in a car accident. How hard can it be to assume the guardianship of a 21 year old girl from a convent? Will Jake resist dancing to the tune played by his late father or will his desire to meet his brothers surpass this resistance?

Three great books beautifully written and crafted; filled with suspense and well linked together. The authors did a great job in linking the books together and what a great ending to all three books written by Sandra Marton in the last book. This is a definite keeper.
