5.0 out of 5 stars Radiophonic Workshop 25 Sep 2012
By W. Baker VINE VOICE
Verified Purchase
Unlike its predecessor, BBC Radiophonic Music, this album is made up mostly of complete themes as opposed to that earlier album's short snippets of sound. Many will be familiar but all are worth hearing ans as with all BBC recordings, the sound quality is excellent. For anyone into electronic music, which should be anyone considering buying this album, an added bonus is the booklet insert with interesting profiles of all of the sound engineer contributors. Whilst electronic music will not be to everyone's taste, for others who are already converts or even those who are not sure, this is an album worth having.

Just not very interesting and enjoyable to listen to. BBC has a lot to be said for the TV Licensing it wants from the public has value for money which it is far from.

1.0 out of 5 stars Radiophonic Workshop 11 April 2009

I thought this was a soundtrack CD, with theme and incidental music from BBC programs, including _Dr. Who_. Instead it was a bunch of mediocre electronic music.
