The RHS Pocket Diary 2010 showcases the work of Lilian Snelling MBE (1879-72), in particular her mature style, which formed the outstanding model for the British botanical artists of the latter half of the 20th Century.
After studying at the Royal College of Art, London, Lilian became a professional artist, contributing the illustrations to the supplements of Henry Elwes' Monograph of the Genus Lilium. From 1916-21, she worked at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Edinburgh and in 1922 she became the principal illustrator of Curtis's Botanical Magazine and continued there until 1952.
The RHS Pocket Diary 2010 has a week to view and is illustrated in colour throughout. Includes storage pocket inside back cover. Companion pocket address also available.

Clear, concise pages with beautiful illustrations by Lilian Snelling. Addition of a small pocket at the front is very useful for putting snippets of information or small cards into.

I buy the RHS diary every year because one thing is certain, it is ALWAYS beautiful. This 2012 diary is no disappointment. If you want to give a green fingered friend something lovely for Christmas, this is it.
