Review

A wonderful reminder of the riches of the library and a very good way to remind ourselves of the pleasures of plants. They also make incomparable gifts. (Museum of Garden History magazine)

A5 sized and a week to view, there's just enough space to jot down those important events and things to do, or in my case make a note of the day to day work made on my garden/allotment, the weather and other miscellaneous observations.

What lifts this diary out of the ordinary are the accompanying historic botanical illustrations taken from the archives of the RHS' Lindley library. There's one sumptuous illustration per week and they are a delight.

There's the usual calendar, holiday and moon phase information, plus details of the RHS show dates. A few pages at the back of the diary are reserved for general notes.

Something any plant lover will treasure.

I bought this diary as I buy this particular one every year. The format is lovely and the presentation excellent. There is plenty of space to make your diary entries and I particularly like the fact that it is a week at a glance with the opposite page showing the flower picture.

This is my third year of purchasing the RHS Desk Diary.
The illustrations are beautiful and it's so cheering especially in Winter to turn over each week to a new one.
I also use the illustration page to make extra notes of special things to remember.
Although it's classed as a Desk Diary it slips easily into my handbag so I use it a lot.
Everyone who sees it asks where they can get one!

Having purchased the RHS Diary for several years now I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending it. It is very well set out with plenty of writting space, contains useful information and is beautifully illustrated. A must for gardening enthusiasts and novices alike.
