This book had believable characters, a good plot (quite easy to figure out the killer but that did not spoil the story). One thing I found amusing was that the main character has an Irish wolfhound called "Angus" and she tells someone that she chose the name because of his Irish ancestry! The author should have done better research...."Angus" is a Scottish name.....not an Irish one! This sort of thing often occurs with American writers who set their books in Wales or Scotland or mention "facts" to do with those countries! There was another incident in the book where the heroine and her mother were trying to sound as if they were characters from "Wuthering Heights".....the language was a pretty weird mix!
Apart from these little niggles, I really enjoyed this book and will probably read more in the series.
