Product Description

Jordan thought moving in with her dad - the supposedly 'normal' parent, the boring optometrist - would mean her life might be less weird. But now Jordan's father's in jail, and it's not for something trivial, like insurance fraud. No, Jordan's dad is doing time for murder. The worst thing is, Jordan knows the guy her dad killed, knows his kids, knows his wife - glamorous, treacherous Gayle d'Angelo. Jordan knew that Gayle and her dad were having an affair, but how could she ever have known things would disintegrate in such a shocking, brutal, earth-shattering way? A funny and heart-wrenching debut novel.

Love it 24 Nov 2003
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
I just read this in two days and I loved it. It is now my favourite book. I had to keep reading until the end and couldn't stop. The story was sad, but parts were very funny. There were a lot of good things said. I loved the characters and want to know more about what happened with Jordan and Jackson. My friend wants it, but she'll have to buy her own, because I'm reading it again.

Heartbreaking 26 Nov 2010
Format:Paperback
This book is surprising, heartbreaking and hilarious. Don't you really want to read this book right at this moment?

The book informs us about a teenager called Jordan MacKenzie and her life. When Jordan realises that her mother is too weird for her to handle, she moves in with her father, however finds out that her father is having an affair with a married woman. But how was she to know that am affair could lead to violence and death?

From the first time I saw this book, I couldn't stop reading it. It has so many feelings which a teenage girl can relate to and it's like a teenage girl was speaking to you. I would recommend this book to any girl around the ages of 13+ because they might be going through similar experiences as Jordan MacKenzie

The Queen Of Everything 23 April 2006

I bought the book AGES ago and I really couldn't get into it for a long time but then I ran out of books to read and it was Christmas (the shops were closed) so I just forced myself to read. It seriously is an amazing book and I don't say that often. I really didn't expect the story to turn out the way it did and I couldn't put it down- even in the bath! Okay TMI lol. It's uncomfortably honest at some points which makes it depressing but at the same time makes you crave more. Open it and don't stop reading even when you don't get what's going on!
