The authors have done a great job in explaining in layman's terms the very real issues affecting food security and just how the world is going to feed itself into the future.
Full of supporting evidence this is a must-read. I would recommend it to decision makers in Government - both the politicians and their officials - political parties of all colours, and anyone who has an awareness that the "perfect storm" of population growth, unsustainable farming practices, over-fishing, extreme weather events arising from climate change etc. are all coming together now.
But it's not all negative; it shows that the solutions exist and that we need the political will to overcome the challenges we face.
A brilliant book, read it and tell others about it!
