This series is consistently watchable. The characters are really believable and the interaction with their personal lives is also interesting and gives again increased "realism" to the stories. I would recommend to those who love the Nordic Noir genre. I find that these productions are of a very high quality and certainly outstrip Hollywood for the quality of the film making, the acting and the storyline.

Another 'by chance' discovery of a Nordic Noir series that deserves a British TV release. Again I cannot stress enough the need to start with Season 1 as that sets the premise for the series as well as introducing the main characters in a sensible way.
Dramatic stories, some excellent locales together with a group of fine actors makes this a 'must see' for any and all fans of this genre.
Series 2 builds excellently on interactions started in Series 1, and I cannot recommend highly enough just how good this drama series is. Series 2 features some interesting 'foreign locales' such as Pakistan and Russia, and a two-parter on a flawed politician clearly seems to be an episode of Borgen they never got a chance to make.
Buy and enjoy!

An excellent second season, emotional concerns on this occasion more to the fore. Again focus is on now not so new recruits Rasmus, Jonas and Jasmina, but other members of the Dutch Intelligence Unit also make considerable impact.

This is not a series crammed with excitement, everything neatly wrapped up before closing credits. Drama there is most certainly, it sometimes extremely upsetting. Emphasis is more on how the Team tries to cope. Psychiatrist Amos tactfully has to steer colleagues through traumatic times. One is in free fall after the death of his best mate. Another strives to adjust after surviving a bomb blast. A third's self-confidence is shattered, he conscience-stricken after a little boy dies when a mission goes wrong.

As ever, acting is superb. Note when that colleague is killed. Grief is tangible, the pain deeply etched on all faces.

No one-dimensional characters here, but people needing careful monitoring if not to crack under the strain.

Causing problems this time round? Hatred whipped up by a Danish cartoonist's depiction of Muhammad; corrupt Russian Intelligence Agents killing journalist whistleblowers; an ambitious politician disastrously concocting a plan to gain public sympathy; a nun targeted for daring to urge peaceful co-existence (Sister Abraham a charismatic delight); in the Congo a ruthless search for smuggled diamonds needed to finance political assassinations.

Ten episodes of almost an hour. No bonuses. English subtitles.

An impressive addition to the Nordic Noir collection.

After have bought and seen season one I was pleased that season two was even better. The plots seemed to be better and the team were in foreign lands for part of the stories. Hopefully there is a season three.

Not bad at all. Not quite at the same level as The Killing, Borgen, The Bridge or Arne Dahl but definitely entertaining and well worth a look if you like the aforementioned. Each storyline only lasts for two one hour episodes and the characters aren't as well painted, possibly for that reason. Subtitling is OK but if you watch the resume of part 1 of each episode at the start of part 2 then there are notable differences (and the resume is usually more enlightening than the original). That's a small point though and this series is definitely worth a recommendation.

One of the best series I have watched in ages, lets hope the rest of the series are as good as the first two. Fantastic.

The different personalities of the team are so well drawn and acted.
The storyline is thrilling and escapist while also being believable and at times humorous.

Between the writing, directing and the acting, this series has it all. My only concern was that it was aired for only 2 years. I miss seeing the charactzrs.
