Product Description

Product Description

Josh and Andy sign up to become Anti-bullying Counsellors because they see it as a chance to skive. But, when they discover that younger pupils are being terrorised by a gang, they are determined to help the victims. They form 'The Protectors', a band of non-violent vigilantes determined to bring justice to the school. Josh and Andy break up the bullying gang but this gives them a taste of power. Slowly, insidiously, the protectors themselves become the abusers.

This was the first book I have read by Pete Johnson and it will not be the last. The book is about two boys, Andy and Josh. They got involved with anti-bullying concilling, just to get out of lessons. Then their whole lives revolved around one bully, and everyone was scared of him. This is very well written. I would recommend it to yonger teenagers. You are drawn into the book to see what Andy and Josh will do next to try and stop the bully ruining any more lives. I will definatly re-read!!!

........ with this great book.It really connects to real life bullying, and when it is finally all over for Josh and Andy you can almost feel the relief. The suspense continues all the way through the book.It is as if you are one of the great characters in this story.
