Book Description

From the best-selling author of The World According to Humphrey comes a brand new book about tom boys and girly girls, prom queens and fairy tale princesses. Fans of Meg Cabot will adore this wonderful new sparkling story.

Product Description

Once upon a time, in the magical land of Pine Glen, California, lived a girl named Casey Peabody - that's me - and her family. We still live in Pine Glen, which isn't really magical, or at least it wasn't until the princess came. Even then, the magic that happened was a lot different than what you read about in fairy tales.

Tomboy Casey Peabody has her life turned upside-down when Princess Eglantine Eleanor Annalisa Ambrosia de Bercy magically appears in her living room. Problem is, her hapless wizard Alaric can't find a spell to magic her back to where she came from - much to Casey's horror. Princess Egg is now living with them, sharing Casey's bedroom and even stealing the affections of Casey's dog.

But life is about to get worse when Egg starts school. Aside from her dodgy fashion sense, she is arrogant, proud and has a habit of calling people peasants. Will Casey be able to stop this royal pain in the neck from turning her into the laughing stock of the school?

A funny, delightful, touching new novel from Betty G. Birney.

I read this before I sent it to my great niece and I really liked the story and I thought it was a good book for a mature 5th grader.

A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
This thrilling book is about a teenager who loves sports and getting down in the dirt. But when her grandmother byes a magical trunk she meets her total oppisite. Princess Eglantine Annalisa Ambrosia de Bercy (Egg for short) was Prissy,Perky, and Popular according to Casey Peabody was the 3P's to being a popular snob. Not to mention the third P is princess. Princess of Trewellyn to be exact. This book kept me at the edge of my seat wondering will Egg fit in or ever go back to her medieval kingdom. Which was set 300 centries ago. This book was defenetly worth getting. I spent the whole day of each day reading this book. I never got bored or wanted to put it down. Will Casey Peabody the soccer fanatic hate the princess and her ways of doing things her whole visit, or is it true that the saying "oppisites attract" will come true.I can't wait for you to find out in this exciting book "The Princess and The Peabodys".
