I expected a funny book, like all the books in the Princess Diaries series. That is what I got. It is a book full of handy tips from the characters in the series. Nearly every character has their own section on posture, make-up, romance or homework. If you would like a good laugh, this is the book for you.

Any fellow fan of Mia's diaries will love this little book all about what really goes on in princess lessons. Meg Cabot keeps things light whilst providing tips on how to look good, make friends and get guys. It still retains the humour of the novels but feels a touch more personal due to the tone of Mia's interactions with her audience. This book doesn't talk down to its readers or try to make them feel bad; rather, it gives a message that most teenagers get sick of hearing but is very true - as long as you have a loving heart, who cares how pretty or clever you are? Any aspiring princesses should get this book and go rule!

Cute, but not really like the princess diaries. Because it isnt a diary. Its has cute illustrations of a few of the characters! Its short, sweet and fun.
