My five year old son loved this film with its sumptuous sets and costumes and great acting. It's a bit gritty in places with a few prison scenes and a burning at the stake in the background of one scene (not too graphic, more implied than anything).
However, it has uplifting moments, goodies, baddies and a few humorous touches. It certainly got my son asking more questions about history, even if he did think the REAL Henry VIII was in this film!
This DVD is very good value as well, I would recommend this. By the way, it wasn't made in 1937! I'm not sure why that date is in the description, I think it's more like 2001.
