Pickmaster Plectrum Cutter - Free Guitar Picks for Life! Pickmaster is a must have for all guitar heroes. Whether you're a private Jimi Hendrix who only allows your bedroom walls to hear you strum or a fully fledged pro, Pickmaster will keep you in the best and baddest plectrums for as long as you like. What the Pickmaster allows you to do is make plectrums out of any old card you no longer use. Whether its an old loyalty card for a store you no longer need or an out of date credit card, simply slide it into Pickmaster, give it a push and "voila", you have yourself a completely original plectrum all of your very own. Plus, slide it in at the right angle and you can make your name appear on the plectrum itself. How cool is that? Don't answer that. You don't need to. Tired of losing picks and paying too much to replace them? Personalise your playing by making your own plectrums with the pickmaster. This cunning tool not only recycles packaging and safely destroys old credit cards, it will also save you time and money. Pickmaster is essential to any guitarists kit bag. Cuts plastic up to 1mm thick. To use: slide old credit card or plastic packaging into Pickmaster, line up cutting area through the whole in the top, squeeze grip and hey presto, your very own plectrum! Simply strum for a few minutes with your new pick to remove any rough edges. Please Note - This Pickmaster is the new and improved Smooth design.

I purchased this for my dad as a stocking filler for Christmas as he is always losing his plectrums. We are thrilled with the product its easy to use and my dad now has about 100 plectrums. I would recommend this product for any guitar lover.

Does what it says it does! But it does not make learning the guitar any easier. Very addictive always looking for new material to use! Never gonna need to buy a pick again or will anyone I know!!

It never really cut the picks that week but it was OK for a week or two, then the handle snapped off.
Overall its poorly made so just don't buy it. You would get better results with scissors or a sharp knife.

This is a must buy, if, like me, you simply cannot keep up with your plectrum losses.

I simply buy plastic sheets used for table and bench protection from leading supermarkets, and use these to punch out new plectrums.

Then, I would give them a little sanding with fine sandpaper across the edges to smoothe out for a brill plectrum.
This product is simply brilliant.

It started off cutting picks fine but after about 6 or 7 it completely snapped off from where the card inserts. Gutted.
