Highly recommended 4 July 2007

After reading many reviews, I finally ordered 3 books about premature babies. This book was definetly the BEST. I read through it daily and it answered many questions. I especially recommend it if your baby had no problems and was only in the incubator to grow up.

An American book. Very prescriptive and dogmatic with no evidence or research to support its approach. The authors have a single view and, if that doesn't work for you, you're back where you started wondering how to cope. If you are in the worrying position of needing information on this subject, you have our sympathy and best wishes but this book is probably best avoided.

This is the best of the premature baby books we looked at (and we saw several, borrowing a bunch from the hospital library). We still refer to it and have used it more even than Yehudi Gordon's 'Birth and Beyond'
