First baby due, and the ONLY book neccessary for me. Dad-to-be thinks it is an excellent read as well. Pre-pregnancy and post pregnancy information about mom and baby. Update, good illustrations and well, all round well put together, in MY opinion. Of course highlighting the good and the bad...but that's life is it not? Having read all the reviews of other books online, I never saw a review for this one before purchasing (didn't notice that until I came home it was hot off the press) but it was the one I left the store with!
So two thumbs up for me! Thanks!

Easy to follow and gave lots of useful info and lists in a way that was not patronising. The week by week pictures are fantastic. Very pleased with this book!

All the stages are covered in here, although it is a bit Americanised. It is good to follow through the weeks and understand the changes that are happening unseen.

But it isn't really a "complete guide", as there are a lot of vague guidelines and you are advised to see your midwife or health visitor quite a lot.

This is a must have book, esp. for first time mums to be.

I am yet to recieve this book, the wife will have had our first child by the time it comes, Amazon will not return my e-mails.
